Amount spent = = (3/5)x

Amount remaining with him = x - (3/5)x

                                             = (2/5)x

Then he spends 1/4th of remaining amount

Amount spent second time = (1/4) of (2/5) x

                                             = (1/10) x

Amount remaining with him = (2/5)x - (1/10)x

                                             = (4/10)x - (1/10)x

                                             = (3/10) x

According to question, remaining amount = ₹ 15

Thus, (3/10) x = 15

⇒x= 50

Hence, amount available with boy at first = ₹50
