AP:PB = AQ:QC = 1:2

Therefore by converse of Thale's Theorem

PQ||BC

So ∆APQ ~∆ABC

PQ:BC

=AP:AB

=2:(2+4)

=2:6

=1:3

So PQ:BC = 1:3

=> BC = 3PQ

Hence proved.
