Given:

5, 7 = 101

3, 8 = 28

2, 6 = 24

To find:

4, 5 =?

Solution:

Let's find out how 5, 7 = 101. 3, 8 = 28. 2, 6 = 24

5, 7 = 101

 = > {5}^{3} - (7 + 5)(7 - 5)

 = > 125 - (12 \times 2)

 = > 125 - 24 = 101

So, 5, 7 = 101.

3, 8 = 24.

 = > {3}^{3} - (8 + 3)(8 - 3)

 = > 27 - (11 \times 5)

 = > 27 - 55 = 28 (Subtract small number from big number)

2, 6 = 24

 = > {2}^{3} - (6 + 2)(6 - 2)

 = > 8 - (8 \times 4)

 = > 8 - 32 = 24 (Subtract small number from big number)

In the same way, find for 4, 5 =?

 = > {4}^{3} - (5 + 4)(5 - 4)

 = > 64 - (9\times 1)

 = > 64 - 9 = 55

So, 4, 5 = 55.

Hence, the required answer is an option -(A) => 55.
