\bold{\Huge{\underline{\boxed{\sf{\green{ANSWER\::}}}}}}

Given:

If the area of a circle is 154cm².

\bold{\Large{\underline{\red{To\;find\::}}}}}}

The perimeter of circle.

\bold{\Large{\underline{\sf{\purple{Explanation\::}}}}}

We know that formula of the area of circle: πr²    [sq. units]

→ πr² = 154cm²

\frac{22}{7} *r^{2} =154cm^{2}

→ r² = \frac{\cancel{154}*7}{\cancel{22}}

→ r² = (7×7)cm²

→ r² = 49cm²

→ r = √49 cm²

→ r = 7cm

Now,

  • Perimeter of the circle;

⇒ Circumference of circle = 2πr

⇒ Circumference of circle = 2 × 22/7 × 7

⇒ Circumference of circle = 44cm.

 \huge \mathtt \purple{ \underline{ \fbox{ \orange{ \: Solution \red : \:  \:  \: }}}}

Given ,

The area of circle = 154 cm²

We know that , the area of circle is given by

 \underline{ \large \sf \fbox{Area  \: of  \: circle = \pi {(r)}^{2} }}

Substitute the values , we obtain

 \sf \hookrightarrow 154 =  \frac{22}{7}  \times  {(r)}^{2}  \\  \\ \sf \hookrightarrow  {(r)}^{2} =  \frac{1078}{22}  \\  \\ \sf \hookrightarrow r =  \sqrt{49}  \\  \\\sf \hookrightarrow  r = 7 \:  \: cm

Hence , the radius of circle is 7 cm

Now , the perimeter of circle is given by

 \underline{ \large \sf \fbox{Perimeter  \: of  \: circle = 2\pi r}}

Substitute the values , we obtain

\sf \hookrightarrow Perimeter = 2 \times ( \frac{22}{\cancel 7} ) \times \cancel 7 \\  \\\sf \hookrightarrow  Perimeter = 44 \:  \: cm

Hence , the perimeter of circle is 44 cm
