Step-by-step explanation:

14.

Volume of cylinder 1 = π×r1×r1×h

Volume of cylinder 2 = π×r2×r2×h

Volume of hemisphere = (4/3)π×R^3

A/Q

When the two cylinder were melted there volume sum will be equal to the volume of hemisphere

π×r1×r1×h+ π×r2×r2×h=4/3π×R^3

π(r1^2+r2^2)×h= (4/3)πR^3

on solving further

h=4R^3/3(r1^2+r2^2)

15. Same concept here also

A/Q

Volume of cylinder = π×(2x/3)×(2x/3)×h

Volume of hemisphere= 4/3 ×π×(x/2)×(x/2)×(x/2)

π×(2x/3)×(2x/3)×h=4/3 ×π×(x/2)×(x/2)×(x/2)

on solving further

h=3x/8
