Explanation:

A seconds pendulum is a pendulum whose period is two seconds; one second for a swing in one direction and one second for the return swing

so,time period=2 sec

frequency=1/time period

=1/2=0.5 Hz

It doesn't depend on amplitude of oscillation; only on time period of oscillation i.e on L and g

but for large value of amplitude , time period does get affected by amplitude of ocsillation and hence frequency is also changed
