When a new no. y is added to a every no. whose mean was earlier x then the new mean will be X + Y
SEE HOW:
x/16 = 8
NOW WHEN TWO IS ADDED TO EVERY NO.
X + 32/16 =8+2

THEREFORE NEW MEAN =10

HOPE IT HELPS
