x is 6 or less and more than - 5

To Find:

The equation showing the above expression

Solution:

x is 6 or less

⇒ x is any numbers equal or smaller than 6

⇒ example, x can be 6, 5 ,4 3 ..... and so no

⇒ x ≤ 6

x is more than -5

⇒ x is any numbers greater than -5

⇒ example, x can be -4, -3 ,-2 ..... and so on

⇒ x > - 5

Putting the two conditions together

⇒ x ≤ 6

⇒ x > - 5

⇒  we can -5 < x ≤ 6

Answer: (A)  -5 < x ≤ 6
