Dimensions of the box= 30 X 20 X 6

T.S.A. of box =2( lb+lb+hl)

= 2(30×20+20×6+6×30)

=2(600+120+180)

=2X900=1800 cm^2

we have to add 5 % of TSA of box that would be overlap....

then , the TSA of box =1800+ 5/100X1800

=1800+90

=1890 cm^2

so, cost for one box = 1890×2/1000

= Rs.3.78

and the cost for 500 boxes=3.78×500

= Rs.1890

Answer 25:

Just Take the LCM, No need To Rationalise

Then You will Get -6 As the Answer

-6=a+b√2

= -6+0√2=a+b√2

On comparing we get,

a=-6

b=0
