Short answer :
Sulh-i-kul was Akbar's policy of a combined religion form , which inspired ideas from other religions ; it was a mixup of other religions .
The will to conquer the entire Indian subcontinent , by all means possible was probably the reason that lead Akbar to introduce this idea .
