a.) The Kangaroo asked the duck to sit steady at the end of his tail in order to be balanced.
b.) As they hoped the world three times round and went with a hop and bound, they were happy.

a.) The surprising thing about the Kangaroo to the duck was that how graciously it hoped over the field and water as if it would never stop.
b.) The duck was sad because it wanted and wished to hop like the kangaroo but was unable to do so. His life became boring in the pond and he wanted to go through the world beyond.
c.) The duck wished that is it could hop like kangaroo and see the world beyond.
