Ans1: Electrons move in single path thus current is generated

Ans2:One volt means a force which makescurrent of one amp move through a resistance of one ohm. Electrons movethrough a conductor when electric current flows. All materials impedeflow of electric current to some extent.

Anonymous: this answer is totally wrong...
Anonymous: Potential difference creates a difference of electron concentration between two ends of wire. All the matter have tendency to move frm higher concentration to lower concentration...Thus current flows through the wire frm negative to positive terminal..
Anonymous: or simply potential difference exerts force on the free electrons of a conductor which cause the charges to move in unidirection which constitutes electric current
