Answer:

When ferrous sulphate is heated in a dry test tube then the following happens :-

  1. It's colour changes from light green to reddish brown.
  2. On further heating it ferrous sulphate decomposes to form ferric oxide (Fe2O3), sulphur dioxide (So2) and Sulphur trioxide (So3).
