Angle1 = x

50° = 50°

x = 50°

Angle2 = y

130° = 130°

y = 130°

Angle1 = 50°

Angle2 = 130°

Step 1 : Angle1 is equal to x because they are vertically opposite angles and "vertically opposite are angles are equal in parallel lines"

Step 2 : Angle2 is equal to y because they are vertically opposite angles and "vertically opposite are angles are equal in parallel lines"

Step 3 : To cross-check the answer the sum of x + y should be 180° as they are alternate interior angles and "the sum of alternate interior angles in parallele lines is always 180°"

Now x+y = 50°+130° = 180° . So the answer is right
