x {}^{2}  - 2 +  \frac{1}{x {}^{2} }  = 4

x {}^{4}  + 2 +  \frac{1}{x {}^{4} }  = 36

Hence,

x {}^{4}  +  \frac{1}{x {}^{4} }  = 36 - 2 = 34
