Acceleration due to gravity at surface of earth is
g = GM / R²

From above
GM = gR² …………[1]

Acceleration due to gravity at Distance 2R from centre of earth
g’ = GM / (2R)²
= gR² / (4R²) ………[∵ from equation (1)]
= g / 4
= 9.8 / 4
= 2.45 m/s²

Gravitational acceleration of spaceship is 2.45 m/s²
