where p=resistivity

  • L=length of the conductor

  • L=4a
  • A=2a*4a
  • x=p a/(2a×4a)=p/8a=(1/8)(p/a)

For resistance between E and F

  • L=4a
  • A=a*4a
  • z=p a/(a×4a)=p/2a=(1/2)(p/a)
