according to question
perimeter of square is equal to tht of rectangle
perimeter of square = 4(10)
= 40 cm
which implies
perimeter of rectangle = 40cm
perimeter of rectangle = 2 (l+b)
40= 2(12+b)
20= 12+b
b=8cm
so area of rectangle = lb
= 12(8) cm2
= 96cm2
