9) starting time of school = 8 am

time of all classes = 5.25 hrs

time taken to reach school = 0.75 hrs or 75min

= 1 hr and 15 min

so , leaving time of Sally = 8.00 am - 1.15

= 6:45 am

reaching from school = 8.00 am+ 5.25 + 1.15

= 8.00+6.40

= 14.40 hrs or2:40pm

10) Vasanti has read 0.25 of the book Robinson Crusoe.

The part of book left unread by Vasanti=1-0.25=0.75

She reads 0.125 part of the book in day=1

1 book read in days=1/0.125

0.75 part of book will be read in days=1/0.125×0.75=3.

Hence, Vasanti needs 3 days to complete the reading of book.
