Step-by-step explanation:

The sides of the triangle are 5cm and 1.5 cm

Now just apply Pythagoras theorem

Finding hypotenuse

= a2+b2=c2

over here 5cm and 1.5 cm is a2 and b2 respectively

now let that 3rd side be c2

now 5^2 +1.5^2=c2

=5^2+1.5^2=c^2{ Remember c2 is the hypotenuse}

=25+2.25=c^2

=27.25=c^2

well then it will be an approximate answer

c =5.220and now I am correcting up to two places of decimal which gives 5.22cm

I really don't know why the options had no choice like this
