The right ventricle pumps blood into the pulmonary arch so blood goes to the lungs via the pulmonary artery whilst the left ventricle pumps blood into the aortic arch and blood goes to the body organs via the aorta

If we pumps the blood to the organs, the heart is contracted and if we receives the blood from the lungs, the heart is relaxed.
