Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Hello dear,

The steps for the construction above are as follows:-

1. Draw BC = 5 cm and construct angle B = 120° ( either with protractor or compass, I have done using a compass).

2. Cut the ray of angle B at A with an arc of 4 cm. Join AC.

3. Draw ray BX such that angle CBX is an acute angle.

4. Cut the ray BX in 5 parts of equal length.

5. Name them as B1, B2, B3, B4 and B5. Join CB5.

6. Through B4, draw a line parallel to CB5 which intersects BC at C'.

7. Through C', draw another line parallel to AC which intersects AB at A'.

8. ∆A'BC' is the required triangle.

Answer: angle a+angle c+120 =180

=>x+x+120=180

=> 2x=60

=>x=30

therefore angle a= angle c =30

and AB= 4cm       (as sides opposite to equal angle are equal)

Hope it helps u.....
