Utility is defined as anything which has a use or a value. It the utility of an object/thing that makes it a resource.

Example : Metals are resources as they have utility, i.e are used to make many objects from our day to day life.

Define Federalism?

Federalism refers to the existance of more than one level of government. It includes the state and the central government. Citizens must abide the laws or policies issued by each level of the government.

Question 3 :

Why are resources distributed unequally over the earth?

  • The distribution of these resources is influenced by many physical factors.
  • These factors include land, climatic conditions, altitude, etc.
  • The distribution of the resources are thus unequal due to the difference in one or many of these factors.
