Answer:

1-4.5 billion years ago

2-While Earth is only the fifth largest planet in the solar system, it is the only world in our solar system with liquid water on the surface. Just slightly larger than nearby Venus, Earth is the biggest of the four planets closest to the Sun, all of which are made of rock and metal.

3-Major Lines of Latitude (or Parallels)

The five major parallels of latitudes from north to south are called: Arctic Circle, Tropic of Cancer, Equator, Tropic of Capricorn, and the Antarctic Circle.

4-All parallel circles from the equator to the poles are known as parallels of latitudes. The lines of reference running from the North Pole to the South Pole are known as meridians of longitude.

5-three

The Earth is divided into three main layers. The dense, hot inner core (yellow), the molten outer core (orange), the mantle (red), and the thin crust (brown), which supports all life in the known universe. Earth's interior is generally divided into three major layers: the crust, the mantle, and the core.

hope this helps

Answer The Following:-

1.) When was the earth formed?

Ans. It is not known exactly when the planet Earth was formed but, according to scientists and geologists, this happened about 4.6 billion years ago. They estimated the age of the Earth by testing the rock structure present on its surface. It is believed that the Earth was formed as a mass of molten matter.

2.) What is earth's position in the solar system?

Ans. The Earth is the third planet in the solar system in terms of distance from the Sun. In terms of its diameter, it is the fifth largest planet. It has a diameter of around 12,756 km and its weighs around 5.972×10^{24} kilos. Its orbit is almost around 149,600,000 km.

3.) What are the lines of latitude?

Ans. The lines of latitude are the imaginary lines horizontally around the Earth. These lines are parallel equidistant from each other. The distance between two consecutive latitude lines is called a degree of latitude and each degree is about 110 kilometers in distance. The latitude line passing through the center of the Earth has a zero degree and it is called "Equator". The circumference of the Earth is the widest at the Equator. The latitude is measured from 0° - 90° North and South.

4.) What are Meridians and Parallels?

Ans. Rotation of the earth on its axis provides two natural points - the North and South Poles. The set of North-South lines connecting the Poles are called the meridians and the set of lines running East-West are called the parallels.

5.) Into how many layers is the earth separated?

Ans. The Earth is separated mainly into two layers. This separation is based on the mechanical properties and the composition of the layers.

These two layers are:-

  • Lithosphere
  • Asthenosphere
