1) Apical meristem sometimes also known as tip growing tissue. It is an undifferentiated mass of meristematic tissues which are found at the growing tip regions and in the buds. The main function of this tissue is to trigger the "growth of new cells".

2) the function of phloem tissue is to transport food from leaves and storage organs to other parts of the plant and for this process energy is required in the form of ATP ( adenosine triphosphate).
