 \frac{2(3) + 1(5)}{15}

 \frac{6 + 5}{15}

 \frac{11}{15}

 \frac{2}{5}  +  \frac{1}{3}  \\  = lcm = 15 \\  = ( \frac{2}{5}   \times  \frac{3}{3} ) + ( \frac{1}{3}  \times  \frac{5}{5} ) \\  =  \frac{6}{15}  +  \frac{5}{15}   \\  =  \frac{11}{15}
