(a) the median weight of watermelon =(n/2+1)th observation

i.e.,  (10/2+1)th observation

     =(5+1)th observation

     =6th obervation

i.e.,   3.31 kg

(b) Mean= (sum of all observations/total number of observation)

        = [(2.17+2.50+2.63+3.14+3.23+3.31+3.58+3.62+3.75+3.92)/10]

        =(31.85/10)

      i.e.,   Meam =3.185
