a) Name the type of root found in bean and peepal plant?

Ans:- A single thick long root with many thin roots grown from it is called tap root. Many plant such as beans, rose, lady fingers, radish, carrot, beet as well as many trees such as peepal have tap root.

b) Name the kind of roots found in mangrove plant.

Ans:- mangrove species have specialized above ground roots called breathing roots or pneumatophores. In some species, these roots are pencil sized and peg like whereas in some other species they look like a knee. These roots have numerous pores through which oxygen enters into the underground tissues.
