Answer:  A) Incisors – The four front teeth in both the upper and lower jaws are called incisors.

Their primary function is to cut food.  

Canines – There are four canines in the oral cavity. They are behind and adjacent to the lateral incisors.

Their main function is to tear food.

Premolars  – These teeth are located behind and adjacent to the canines and are designed to crush food.  There are eight premolars in the oral cavity.  

Molars – The most posterior teeth in the mouth are the molars.  They are designed to grind food.  

B)  The pseudopodia join together to form a small cavity known as a food vacuole. The food inside the vacuole is digested by digestive juices. It is absorbed and assimilated there to provide energy and perform other functions.

C) Milk Teeth:

  • Root canals have a more hour-glass-like appearance
  • A larger pulp chamber
  • Enamel and dentine are less mineralized
  • less regular

  Permanent Teeth:

  • Root canals have a well-defined appearance with more branches
