  2. Manjula was transcended to another world of painting. It was conjured up with glowing colours, beautiful forms and perfect shapes. Thus, she was transported to a picturesque valley of different shades of colour.
  3. Mother gifted Manjula a set of artist's water colour, father gave her a book on painting - Painting, Step by Step - while her brother gifted her three water-colour brushes of artist's quality.
  4. Manjula tore her paintings because she overheard the conversation of her mother and father. She was disheartened to know that her father was worried about the increasing expenditure and wants her to choose a better hobby like Cooking. Thus, she decided to tear her paintings and give up!
