(i) Difference between dinoflagellates and euglenoids are as follows
Dinoflagellates :-
- They have a cell wall with stiff cellulose.
- They are mostly marine
- They are always Photoautotrophic.
- They have two flagella, one lies Transversely and other longitudinally.
Euglenoids :-
- They have pellicle.
- They are fresh water forms found in stagnant water.
- They may be photoautotropic or heterotrophic and predaceous in the absence of Sunflower.
- They have two flagella

(ii) differentiate between Ascomycetes and Basidiomycetes are as follows :-
Ascomycetes :-
- They produce fruiting bodies, called ascocarp.
- Each ascus contains eight ascospores.
- They may or may not show dikaryotic phase in the life style.
- Asexual spores are found.
Basidiomycetes :-
- They form fruiting bodies, called basidiocarp
- Each basidium produce four basidiospores exogenously
- They show an extended period or dikaryotic phase.
- Asexual spores are not found
