(d) Mrs. Al Smith is a rich American lady engaged in film making. She is a self-opinionated, overconfident and brusque lady. She is prejudiced against French people and thinks very high of Americans. She takes pride in saying that the Americans think only about the future whereas the French stick to the past. Despite her superiority, she is overestimated by Gaston.
