LCM = 168

5/7   =    5/7  ×  24/24
   
         =     120/ 168

3/8    =    3/8   ×  21/21
 
          =    63/168
 
9/14    = 9/14 × 12/12
 
            = 108/168

20/21  =    20/21 ×  8/8
 
            =     160/168

∴ Ascending order =  3/8 < 9/14 < 5/7 <20/21

Here denomianators are 7,8,14 and 21.
LCM of denominators=168
5/7=120/168

3/8=63/168

9/14=108/168

20/21=160/168
Now ascending order=63/168, 108/168, 120/168, 160/168

Hence ascending order of given fractions,
3/8 , 9/14 , 5/7 , 20/21.

Given fractions,
13/18 , 8/15 , 17/24 , 7/12.
Here denominators are 18,15,24 and 12
LCM of denominators=360
13/18=260/360

8/15=192/360

17/24=255/360

7/12=210/360
Ascending order=192/360 , 210/360 , 255/360 , 260/360

Hence ascending order of given fractions,
8/15 , 7/12 , 17/24 , 13/18.
