Given :-

A = { x:x ∈ n and x < 20 } and

B = { x:x ∈ n and x≤ 50 }

To find :-

Set builder form of A-B

Solution :-

Given that

A = { x:x ∈ n and x < 20 }

A = { 1,2,3,4,5,...,19 }

B = { x:x ∈ n and x≤ 50 }

B = { 1,2,3,4,...,49,50 }

Now,

A-B

= { 1,2,3,4,5,...,19 } - { 1,2,3,4,...,49,50 }

= ∅ = Empty set

= { }

Answer :-

Given :

A = {x:x ∈ n and x < 20}

B = {x:x ∈ n and x ≤ 50}

To Find :

A - B in Set Builder form

Solution :

A = {x:x ∈ n and x < 20}

A = {1,2,3,4,. . . ,18,19}

B = {x:x ∈ n and x ≤ 50}

B = {1,2,3,4,. . . ,49,50}

Now, Finding A - B :-

A - B

= {1,2,3,4,. . . ,18,19} - {1,2,3,4,. . . ,49,50}

= ∅

= { }
