Anne's diary narrated the events occured during World War 2 from the perspective of a Jewish girl.
It described the atrocities done by Hitler on the Jews community, which gave an in-depth view of the psyche of the Jews during that time.
Anne was forced to hide along with her family members in secret annex which she named it.
If they don't prefer hiding, she and her loved ones might be killed.
The war forced the Jews to undergo many hardships.
This was the social and economic issues that were revealed in Anne's diary.

""Peter Van Daan"" was an awkward, quiet, and a shy boy at the age of sixteen.
He was sensitive, thoughtful, sensible, and observant, that differs from his brash and loud parents.
