Constantly wallowing in sorrow deepens the pain of losing a loved one.

Instead, one should learn to overcome the sorrow and pain and move on in life.

They should focus on the happy memories, they have of the person they lost.

Instead of crying for their loss, they should celebrate those memories and further spread the love they shared with them with others around them.

Instead of being alone and depressed, they should distract themselves from the pain and focus on the happy parts they are experiencing in the world currently.

One should remember that mortal life is short in this world and has to be experienced to the fullest.

OR

During Chekov's times, proposals were not made directly to the woman but was first posed to her parents.

This is brought out in the initial setting of the drama where the protagonist Lomov dresses sharply to meet Natalia's dad Chubukov in order to ask her hand in marriage.

Even when he talks to Natalia, he ensures not to make any personal remarks.

These scenes show how formal proposals were back then.

A healthy relationship requires trust and understanding.

One should learn to love each other as they are and learn to believe in each other for a relationship to last long.

Death is the fate of all living things and not

a single mortal can escape from it.Neither

can a father save his son nor can anyone

save his/her relative from death.Since

death and decay are interwoven in this

world,we should not grieve over it.We have

to live according to the terms of this world

and watch our loved ones being carried

away when death touches them.Grieving

or weeping over a loss does not give peace

of mind to anyone. This further adds to the

sorrow and leads to the ailments of the

body. So,one should move forward in life

and face the loss with strength.

Ans2

Courtship in the olden days was nothing

like what it is now.Proposal had to be sent

very formally through the parents and their

consent was needed to get married. In the

play,we see that Lomov wants to marry

Natalia but instead of talking to her directly,

he calls her father to ask for her hand in

marriage. He arrives dressed in his best

clothes and presents himself in the best

possible way so that Chubukov may not

refuse the proposal.Even when he talks to

Natalia,he refrains from saying anything

personal.

Relationships need a lot of fuel to keep

them strong and healthy.Trust and

understanding between both the people is

essential to make it successful.
