i.  Hari  is  a  thief  No  doubt but he is a good  human  being and has a noble heart.  Situations makes a person to become  either  beast  or remain as a human being. Even goodness and nobility of a person changes  anyone’s heart and mind.

ii)Loisel had to borrow money at very high rate of interest to replace the Lost necklace.It changed the entire course of The Loisel’s life. They had to live a hard life of poverty. They changed their lodgings. They sent away the maid.Matilda have to do all the household work herself. She had to live like a poor woman. Loisel did over time for some merchants. This continued for 10 long years. At last they cleared all their debts. Matilda now looked an old women of a poor family.

iii)The post office employees were kind hearted people .They were impressed by Lencho’s faith in God. They decided to help him. Each of them contributed a part of the money. They sent all this money to Lencho through a letter.

iv) Lencho was not at all justified in calling  them ‘a  bunch of  crooks because they were rather very kind and helpful they helped him by contributing a part of  their salary  and helped him as they could.

v)The phrase ‘ the new hope and the new life’ mean that one day she would be able to speak like everyone else and become the most learned girl in the village.
