To Find:

The value of tan 30°.

Given :

Height = \sqrt{3}a

Base = a

 Hypotenuse = 2a

Concept:

tan\theta = \dfrac{Base}{Height}

Solution:

tan 30° = \dfrac{a}{\sqrt{3}a}

a and a will cross with each other.

tan 30° = \dfrac{1}{\sqrt{3}}

\therefore tan 30° = \dfrac{1}{\sqrt{3}}
