x^(2)+1 hasno zeros.why?

to check the zeroes,we have the formula b^2-4ac
in this , 
a=1
b=0
c=1
thus,(0)^2 - 4(1)(1)
= -4
as the result if less than 0,means hat the equation has no real roots.

 for all real values of x , x² is positive 
∴ x² +1 never becomes zero
x² +1 doesn't have zeroes
