Answer:

Slow combustion

Slow combustion reactions are combustion reactions that occur at relatively low temperatures. ... Much like other combustion reactions, the glucose needs oxygen to burn, and the products are carbon dioxide and water. Energy is also released in cellular respiration. Cellular respiration is an example of a slow reaction.

Rapid combustion

Rapid combustion: The combustion in which the gas burns rapidly and produces heat and light is called rapid combustion.

Eg. Petrol, LPG, spirit, etc.,

spontaneous combustion

Spontaneous combustion: The combustion in which no external heat is given is known as spontaneous combustion.

For example: Burning of white phosphorus in air.

Explosive combustion

Explosion: The combustion in which large amount of gases are evolved with the production of a tremendous amount of neat; light and sound is called explosion,

For example: When a cracker is ignited, a sudden reaction, oxidation process takes place, and in which at high speed large amount of gas is evolved with the production of tremendous amount of heat, light and sound.

Answer:

1.Slow combustion: The combustion reactions which take place slowly and give less amount of heat slowly are termed as slow combustion reactions.

The processes of rusting, digestion of food are examples for slow combustion.

Rapid combustion: A substance that burns quickly and producing heat is called rapid combustion. Ex: Burning of candle.

Explosion: If burning of substance

produces lot of heat then it is called explsion. Ex: burning of crackers.

Spontaneous combustion: A substance burns without the support of external reagent is called spontaneous combustion. Ex: when white phosphorus kept open atmosphere it burns immediately.

2.The inflammable substance is aroused and catches fire easily. Some examples of inflammable substance are: Petrol, paint thinners and removers, benzene, fireworks, blowtorch, butane, propane, a balloon for gas cookers, magnesium, and zinc powder.

3.In exothermic process, heat is released. The reaction of Na with water is highly exothermic. Due to rapid increase in temperature, hydrogen gas catches fire

4.Explosive refers to a chemical compound, mixture, device etc. that is capable of exploding. Example: "Gasoline forms an explosive mixture with air."
