Answer:

1.Weather is the state of the atmosphere, describing for example the degree to which it is hot or cold, wet or dry, calm or stormy, clear or cloudy. On Earth, most weather phenomena occur in the lowest level of the planet's atmosphere, the troposphere, just below the stratosphere.

2.There are six main components, or parts, of weather. They are temperature, atmospheric pressure, wind, humidity, precipitation, and cloudiness.

3.The maximum-minimum thermometer consists of a U-shaped glass tube filled with alcohol on both ends of the tube. As the alcohol expands in response to temperaturechanges, the metal index on both sides of the thermometer record the maximumand minimum temperatures.

4.Climate is the long-term average of weather, typically averaged over a period of 30 years. More rigorously, it denotes the mean and variability of meteorological variables over a time spanning from months to millions of years.

5.Adaptation is the physical or behavioural characteristic of an organism that helps an organism to survive better in the surrounding environment.” Living things are adapted to the habitat they live in. This is because they have special features that help them to survive.

6.The polar bear

thick layers of fat and fur - for insulation against the cold. a small surface area to volume ratio - to minimise heat loss. a greasy coat that sheds water after swimming - to help reduce heat loss.

7.Reasons to Move

Most animals that migrate do so to find food or more livable conditions. Some animals migrate to breed. ... Sometimes animals migrate to find a place to hibernate. Little brown bats livein trees in warm months, then in cold weather they migrate to caves where it iswarmer.

Hope it is help full to you.

Explanation:

6.*a white appearance as Comuoplage from prey on the snow or ice

*thick layers of fat and fur for insulation against cold

*a greasy coat that shed water after swimming helps to reduce heat loss

7.The majority of animals migrate either to find food or a suitable place to breed and raise their young. Species that migrate to the UK in winter do so to escape the extreme cold in countries further north, which makes food difficult to find.
