Areolar Tissue:

1) areolar tissue is located in the body cavity (under muscles), filling up the empty spaces

2) it acts as a reservoir of water and salts.

3) it also connects the epithelial tissue to other underlying tissue

Adipose Tissue:

1) it is present under the skin, above the muscles

2) it acts as in insulant and stores energy

3) it is made up of fat, and also contains cells such as mast cells.
