3. Write the types of non-contact force. Also define them.
4. What are the effects of force on an object?
5. How can we change the speed and the direction of a moving body?
6. What do you mean by pressure? What is the SI unit of pressure?

- Example : Reaction force and Friction
- Gravity
- Gravitational force, magnetic force, electrostatic force and nuclear force
- A force acting on an object causes the object to change it's shape or size, to start moving, to accelerate or decelerate . When there is the interaction between two objects they exert a force on each other, these exerted forces are equal in size but opposite in direction.
- We can change the speed and the direction of a moving body by applying force on that moving body or moving object.
- Pressure is the force applied perpendicular to the surface of an object. The SI unit of pressure is the pascal, equal to one newton per square meter
- A flat shoe increases the area of contact with the ground. Hence pressure on the ground is much less in case of a flat shoe as a compared to a pencil heeled shoe and walking is easier.
- The pressure exerted by the weight of the atmosphere which at sea level has mean value of 101,325 pascals.
