Answer the following questions.
1=>A concave Makeup mirror is designed so that a person 25.0cm in front of it sees an upright image at a distance of 50.0cm behind the mirror.
a=>What is the radius of curvature of the mirror?
b=>What is the magnification of the image?
c=>Is the image real or virtual?

Please answer me fastly because I have to give an exam on this topic so plz give me the answer fastly

Explanation:

We know that  1/s  + 1/s'  = 1/f

s = 25cm  is the object

s' = -50cm

and f is the focal length

so,

=> 1/25 - 1/50 = 1/f

=> (2 - 1)/50 = 1/f

=> 1/50 = 1/f

=>  f = 50 cm

Therefore,

(i) R = 2f  = 100cm is the radius of curvature.

(ii) The magnification is -s'/s  = -(-50)/25  = 2

(iii) The image is virtual because it's at the back of the mirror.

Hope it helps!

Answer:a) -100cm. B) 2. C) virtual

Explanation:

Here,

u= -25cm

v= 50 cm

a). R=?

For this we have to find focal length..

~ by using mirror formula

1/v +1/u= 1/f

1/50 + 1/-25= 1/f

f = -50cm

Then,

R= 2f

= 2*-50= -100cm

b) m=?

m= -v/u

-50/-25

= 2

c). Virtual..
