Answer the following questions
1. How an amount of work measured,
a) when the body moves in the direction of force
b) when a body moves in the direction opposite to the force
c) when a body moves at an angle to the direction of the force.
2. How much work is done when a person moves horizontally carrying a suitcase on his head?

1 a:work done,when the body moves in the direction of force is said to be positive work done

b:negative work done when the force is opposite to the displacement.

c:given by

work =force×displacement costheta

2:work done by the person to move a suitcase on his head is zero because displacement of man would be horizontally that to of suitcase and force here is gravity due to earth(g) force is perpendicular to the displacement hence cos 90 degree is 0 so work done is zero
