we can say that India is a democratic country because all the major decisions are made by the elected people and after every 5 years elections are held.

Answer:

1. The Constitution gave the citizens of India the power to choose their own government and paved the way for democracy.

2. More than 160 million people in India are considered "Untouchable"—people tainted by their birth into a caste system that deems them impure, less than human. Human rights abuses against these people, known as Dalits, are legion

3. Dalit autobiography is 'Joothan', written by Omprakash Valmiki.

4. Right to equality- This right ensures that everybody is equal before law, no person is above the law of the land. Law will not discriminate anyone on the basis of caste, creed, religion or sex. The government shall not discriminate against any citizen on grounds only of religion, race, caste, sex or place of birth
