Answer:-It is a soil bacteria that infects the root of the plants mainly leguminous plants to form a type of nodules called root nodules.As they produces nodules and these nodules fixes the nitrogen gas (N2) from the atmosphere and turn them into useful form of Nitrogen gas (N).

Answer:-As it kills the soil bacteria and convert this nitrogen to ammonium ions (NH4+) and these ions are further used by the plant to make the food.

In the atmosphere nearly the 70% of nitrogen is present and just by the process of photosynthesis it is maintained by the carbon formation...
