1. Major functions of proteins in the body are:

• Structural proteins- keratin and collagel

• Enzymes-lactase

• Hormones-insulin

• Transport molecules-Haemoglobin.....

2. For sugar /fats we need to take a paper and cover the food item in it.if it leaves a oily stain then the food item has fats.

For protein we need to add three drop of copper sulphaye and 10 drops of caustic soda to a test tube in which the protein food is there.If it turns voilet colour then the food has proteins.

3. Consuming Adequate amount of eight B complex vitamins Puts you on the path of healthy diet .Some top sources of B vitamin include meat (especially liver) ,seafood,poultry,eggs,dairy products,legumes,leafy greens ,seeds and forified food such as breakfast cereal and nutritional yeast.

4.Phosphorus is in almost all animals and Vegetable food and it also found in food that contain calcium . Milk and dairy products ,fish bones (Such as in canned salmon and surdines)And dark green leafy vegetables Are the best source of calcium .Magnesium like phosphorus is abundant In animal and plant cells

5.Protein deficiency is when People do not get adequate amounts of protein From their diet .

Symptoms:

•Skin hair and nail problems

• Loss of muscle mass

• Increased risk of bone fractures

• Risk of infections

• Fatty liver

• May inhibit proper body growth in children
