Answer:

  1. Death, injury, sexual violence, malnutrition, illness, and disability are some of the most threatening physical consequences of war, while post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, and anxiety are some of the emotional effects.
  2. Cold War, the open yet restricted rivalry that developed after World War II between the United States and the Soviet Union and their respective allies. The Cold War was waged on political, economic, and propaganda fronts and had only limited recourse to weapons.
  3. Eight Main Causes of War
  • Economic Gain.
  • Territorial Gain.
  • Religion.
  • Nationalism.
  • Revenge.
  • Civil War.
  • Revolutionary War.
  • Defensive War.

4. They are widely believed to have significant consequences for states' security, but agreement stops there. In the debate over their consequences, one side holds that arms races increase the probability of war by undermining military stability and straining political relations.

5. If we are to achieve meaningful peace, the foreign policy of free governments and the cultural export of free societies must: help build civil society, establish rule of law, secure individual freedoms, spark economic development, separate religion and government, secure freedom of thought and belief, and expose human .

6. Peace builds, strengthens and restores. Peace is the hope of every nation, the promise of every politician, the pulse of every religious tradition, the goal of every prayer. Peace is the bold, courageous and ultimate response to the notion that violence provides any viable solution for the conflicts of our world.

7. It depends on how you define peace and what you are actually doing to bring about peace. Because there are many kinds of peace each with their own foundations. On the planets of Mars, Venus, Mercury and others where there is no life. There is peace. So the absence of life brings about peace and absolute violence destroys peace while bringing about absolute peace in the name of total extinction of all life.

Peace can be negotiated for a variety of reasons. But, this peace is destroyed when lies and deceptions are revealed through aggressive actions. Peace is also destroyed by the bully who has gained much strength. Peace is destroyed by secrets kept from one faction to another. Look to the history of humanity for answers in regards to negotiated peace agreements and treaties. In which these agreements and treaties never seem to last. So dishonesty, dishonor and distrust seem to lead to the destruction of peace.

The greed of wanting more from those who seem or actually do have more. The darkened heart and selfish mind who demands to have what they want. The me and us crowd who who are so blinded that they are willing without even so much of an after thought to sacrifice their own family in order to get even more. Who is your family? Every human being is your family. The inability to share with your brother or sister. The refusal to raise up the young ones in order for each of them to become self determining. This leads to the destruction of peace. The economics of the institution of slavery also leads to the destruction. When one group of family members believe that they are superior to any other group of family members. This always leads to a lack of peace and uprisings. Look to the history of humanity where slavery was introduced. Even prior to any uprising one group seems to have dominant peace where the enslave group has none.
