1) Crop rotation is a process of growing different crops in succession on a piece of agricultural land to avoid exhausting the soil and to control weed and pests. Crop rotation also gives nutrients to the soil.

2) The statement is FALSE, because Oxygen and Water helps in oxidation.

3) Limestone is decomposed by CHEMICAL weathering (PROCESS - CARBONATION).

4) Mass wasting is the movement of weathered materials downslope due to the force of gravity. Rock falls, slumps and debris flows are all examples of mass wasting.

5) Weathered rock particles, when gets eroded due to the action of wind, river or glacier and are deposited at distant places resulting in elevation of primary landforms is called erosion. In simple language, it is the process of wearing away of rocks by wind, river or any running agents (glaciers also).

Crop rotation is the practice of growing a series of dissimilar or different types of crops in the same area in sequenced seasons. It is done so that the soil of farms is not used for only one set of nutrients. It helps in reducing soil erosion and increases soil fertility and crop yield
